Bench Day and Cleanup

On Saturday 24th April 2021 the Parish Council organised a "Bench Day and Cleanup". Having made repairs the the benches in the Parish over the past months, it was decided by the Council to clean the benches and cut the grass around them. Not being able to resist the temptation, other tidying up jobs were tackled as well.

Please click on the attached document to see a full report. there was not enough time to tackle all of the benches needing work and so there will be another day later in the summer.

Very many thanks to those who turned out to help and to Councillors Carolyn Sandford, Tom Sheppard, Nick Tither and Paul Steer for organising the day. Will it be an annual event, perhaps?
