Bishop Thornton defib

The Parish Council are delighted to announce that the new defibrillator unit for Bishop Thornton is now fitted and ready to use.

The unit is located on the wall of a building near the entrance to

Thornton Grove Farm, Bishop Thornton, Harrogate, HG3 3JW.

The building is at the entrance of the farm on the road from “the Drovers” (rather than the entrance opposite the telephone call box/bus shelter). It can be seen from the road and there is a green sign on the side of the building itself.

Our thanks go to Mr & Mrs Kirby for supporting the installation on one of their buildings.

There will be a story including photo graphs in place of this announcement shortly.

The parish council is now working on locating a unit in Shaw Mills.
